Important Notice

By using the Solar Saathi website or platform, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. These terms govern our role as a facilitator, not an installer or manufacturer.

🌞

1. About Solar Saathi

Solar Saathi is a solar facilitation platform. We act as an intermediary between customers seeking solar installation and verified local solar vendors. Solar Saathi does not manufacture solar panels, does not directly install solar systems, and does not guarantee specific outcomes of the installation process. By using Solar Saathi's website or submitting an inquiry, you acknowledge that our role is that of a coordinator and service guide — not an installer or manufacturer.
⚙️

2. Services Provided

Solar Saathi provides the following services at no direct cost to the customer: • Understanding your energy requirements, roof type, budget, and location • Matching you with suitable verified vendors from our partner network • Coordinating a free site visit with the assigned vendor • Helping you compare proposals from different vendors • Guiding you through documentation including net metering applications, government subsidy claims, and DISCOM approval processes • Providing post-installation support and acting as a liaison if issues arise All installation work is performed exclusively by independent third-party vendors. Solar Saathi coordinates but does not execute any physical installation.
⚖️

3. Vendor Responsibility vs Platform Responsibility

Vendor Responsibility: The vendor assigned to your project is solely responsible for the quality of installation, equipment used, workmanship, timelines, and any warranties provided. Disputes regarding installation quality, delays, or equipment performance should first be addressed with the vendor directly. Solar Saathi Responsibility: We are responsible for verifying vendors before listing them on our platform, providing accurate information during the guidance process, and acting in good faith as a mediator if disputes arise between you and the vendor. Solar Saathi is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from installation work performed by vendor partners, equipment failure, or vendor non-performance. However, we will make reasonable efforts to assist you in resolving disputes.
🏠

4. Site Visit Terms

Solar Saathi coordinates a free site visit on your behalf. By requesting a site visit, you agree to: • Provide accurate information about your property and electricity usage • Be available (or have an authorized representative present) at the scheduled time • Grant the vendor's representative reasonable access to your roof and electrical panel Solar Saathi reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a site visit if inaccurate information is provided. The site visit is non-binding — you are under no obligation to proceed with any vendor after the visit.

5. No Obligation to Purchase

Using Solar Saathi's platform, requesting a consultation, or receiving a site visit does not obligate you to purchase any solar system or sign any contract with any vendor. You retain full freedom of choice at every stage. Solar Saathi does not charge customers any fee for facilitation services. Our business model is based on partnerships with vendors, not on commissions from your purchase.
📋

6. Accuracy of Information

You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information when using our platform. Providing false information about your property, electricity usage, or identity may result in delays or an inability to provide suitable vendor matches. Solar Saathi provides informational guidance based on general knowledge and vendor input. While we aim for accuracy, we do not guarantee that subsidy amounts, net metering timelines, or power generation estimates will match actual outcomes, as these depend on local government policies and site-specific conditions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solar Saathi's liability in any dispute is limited to the value of direct services we provided to you — which, for most customers, is zero (as our services are free). We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including loss of savings, energy production shortfalls, or property damage arising from vendor work. Customers are advised to obtain and review vendor contracts and warranties before authorizing any installation.
⚖️

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of Solar Saathi's platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Rajasthan, India. We encourage all disputes to first be resolved through good-faith communication with our support team before pursuing legal action.
